A Rainforest Alliance certified, single estate coffee from Nicaragua. This honey process coffee from renowned grower Finca La Bastilla is a blend of two lots - Buey (catuai varietal) and Llamada (geisha varietal). The result is a beautiful, clean, big bean coffee that's consistent in color and flavor. In the cup it is so incredibly smooth and easy-drinking.
Think full-bodied, chocolate, hazelnut, and maple syrup. A really cool note about the farm- they run waste water from washing the coffee through a "bio-digester" to extract methane, which in turn is used to heat workers' kitchen stoves. Very resourceful!
